What "Verified" Means

A result on EuroBillions is marked "verified" when it has been independently confirmed against at least two sources with matching data. This means:

What Happens If Sources Disagree?

When our primary and secondary sources report different data, the following process is triggered:

  1. 1.The record is flagged as "conflict" and not published as confirmed
  2. 2.Both conflicting values are stored and visible in our internal records
  3. 3.A reconciliation attempt is made (checking tertiary source, operator website)
  4. 4.If unresolved, the data is published with a visible uncertainty notice
  5. 5.The conflict is logged for manual review

We never silently overwrite conflicting data. If you notice a potential conflict in our published data, please contact us at admin [at] eurobillions.co.uk.
